I am so tired of doing research online to find a school to go to. It is so frustrating. Although there is a severe lack of nurses in our country, finding a school that is not impacted is nearly impossible. State schools pretty much all have the same policy, approximately 200 students apply and 60 are accepted into the nursing program. Not odds I like. I was told if I don’t have straight A’s that I should not even apply. Great. I’ve been looking for schools that are not impacted and where I will be guaranteed to get the classes I need. I feel like I am searching for the impossible. I know they exist, I just can’t find one that works for me.However, I have found one. A school that gives me the stability I am looking for as well as a clinical lab that is the top in the state. I know I would get an excellent education there. I am still unsure of going there. It is a school that I have never wanted to go to. It would take some sacrifices to go there, but, like I said, it would give me stability and an excellent education. I really just do not know what to do though.

I have thought about it, but I'm afraid I won't want to go back to school. It is still an option though. I'm considering CBU.
APU has a good nursing program....
I considered going to APU last year, but they too are super impacted. They school in Portland I was looking at only accepts you RIGHT after you graduate from high school. Stupid budget cuts. Stupid impacted nursing schools.
I had a feeling. Don't go to Cal Baptist. They just got a nursing program a few years ago. That can't be good.
My vote is for Chabot (or an equivalent). If you get bored and want to advance, you will want to go back to school. If you want to go back, you will.
